Founding Members
WAV Zine was created during the summer of 2020 when a group of friends and students wanted to create a space for music and art in the SLO community. Free from the limitations of university rules, these six friends brought together a staff filled with talented and like minded individuals.
NATALIE BECKER
The OG Co-General Manager, Natalie is a true business woman! She keeps everyone in check and makes sure everything is running smoothly.
CASSIDY WURTZ
Past OG Co-General Manager and now the Outreach Manager, Cassidy gets sh*t done. She’s helped WAV get connected with local venues such as Shabang and SLO Brew Rock.
JOHN LINDBERG
The old Marketing Director and now 2021- 2022’s Co-General Manager, John is the mayor of innovative ideas. He helped WAV go from 0 followers to 1million (hopefully).
RENEE KAO
Renee was the Creative Director when WAV Zine first launched and is now Co-General Manager for the 2020 – 2021 year.
JAKE DAVIS
Past Editor and Chief Jake Davis is the brains of WAV (it was his idea to start it). Call Jake and tell him to get a haircut.
Delaney Faherty
Delaney the first Content Editor has now graduated to Editor In Chief. Delaney and her team helped create the voice of WAV Zine.
