Caramel – Connan Mockasin
It’s a weird fusion of psychedelic rock and jazz and has this element of sensuality and flirtatiousness. It feels like warm dim lighting and someone whispering something secret to you. It’s smooth and seductive just like the title tries to tell you. My favorite song on it is “I’m The Man, That Will Find You”.
— Emma Thompson, Artist
Contra – Vampire Weekend
Contra, Vampire Weekend’s second album release, is the softness of winter and eagerness of spring. It’s faint nostalgia and looking forward to change. Ezra Koenig fluctuates between long, drawn out vocals and fast-paced, jumbled lyrics throughout this album that feel like recalling an old memory, and mixing up the fuzzy bits: Was it me and my cousins?? Or you and your cousins??
— Abbott Swanson, Art Director
Different Class – Pulp
I love Pulp, this album will always be good.
— Sami Skaff, General Manager (And woman of many words)
Galore – Oklou
I didn’t dive into this album until recently and it pairs perfectly with a late night walk. I’m always walking around in the evenings and this album makes it that much more magical. Soft synths, cricket samples and airy vocals make it such a soothing soundtrack to your journey in the twilight.
— Leo Hudson, Playlister
Hard – Thumpasaurus
This album feels like intrusive thoughts with a soundtrack behind them. Just like the band’s name, this album is fun, experimental, and funky in all the best ways. If you like a hectic style of music, I highly suggest seeing them live…

How Do You Sleep At Night? With You – Teezo Touchdown
Right now I have How Do You Sleep at Night? With You by Teezo Touchdown on repeat. In my opinion, Teezo’s creativity as an artist is unparalleled. The album’s diverse range, from rock tracks like “OK” to R&B/Pop songs like “I Don’t Think U C Me” and “Sweet,” and rap songs “Third Coast” and my favorite, “Out of Respect,” makes this album a prime example.
— Tyler Rehnberg, Marketing
jazz is for ordinary people – berlioz
Jazzy, house-y, can it get better than this? Listening to this EP is like scratching an itch in my brain. Can’t stop groovin’.
— Sam Vitug, Playlisting Manager
Killswitch Melodies – Flawed Mangoes
Dreamlike, like fluttering in and out of consciousness. The songs are constructed simply, but take you to beautiful and unexplored depths within your own mind.
— Max Ray, Editor-in-Chief
Live at The Bunker Studio – Big Thief
I like to have Adrianne Lenker right there screaming in my ear while I do homework and walk around and such. I would go feral for a live version of every Big Thief song.
— Camilla Ferry, Physical Media Director
Lucid – Raveena
This album speaks to my soul. Raveena’s voice is crystal clear and her lyricism so unique. Every song really has its own aura.
— Julia White, Editorial
On All Fours – Goat Girl
I love this album, it hits all my danceable, dark, dissonant, and damn-the-oppressive-systems needs. Listen for crank wave godliness & silliness. They also have a manifesto you should check out…
— Maile Benumof, Events Co-Director & Editorial
Soft Rock – Thy Slaughter
A great album to round out 10 years of PC Music. This electronic rock project features Charli XCX and Caroline Polachek. Give it a listen!
— Mac Moran, Playlister & Editorial
They Might’ve Even Loved Me – NoMBe
Noah makes a statement about all the women in his life through this album. He created a new genre dubbed “Electric Soul”. It’s unique and nostalgic and everything you’d ever want.
— Lily Tenner, Photographer & Videographer
Unplugged – Alice in Chains
I love the warm feeling the songs take on in this acoustic live album. You really feel immersed in the music as you hear the band talking to the audience. Layne Staley’s voice is emotional, melancholy, and distinct. And I love the vocal harmonies so much.
— Maddy Chin, Photographer & Videographer
Up and Away – Σtella, Redinho
It’s such a complete and well rounded album. Each song has its own defining characteristics and the bass lines are dirty. Just a groovy overall album great for cafe studying or jamming with the toes out in the sun.
— Kirby Lum, Playlister & Artist
Volcano – Jungle
New mix of UK rock and R&B that has the best upbeat vibes. Lots of good memories connected to it + stoked to see them at Coachella :).
— Lyle Rumon, General Manager
Yankee Hotel Foxtrot – Wilco
Especially as we move into winter quarter, I have gotten into super nostalgic comfort music. I grew up with parents who were huge Wilco fans, so this album is such a nice calming influence. I can’t even try to lie, my several-month Wilco kick is still going and I’m not embarrassed in the slightest. Jeff Tweedy is a lyrical genius, and every song has its own unique way of making me absolutely and completely obsessed.
